This role is dedicated to client support. Clients include referrers, insurers, other health services and most importantly our patients.
The person in this role needs to keep our clients at the heart of every decision we make. We want to ensure their experience and relationships are nurtured.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in allied health or medical administration
Exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude
Impeccable communication skills and presentation
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge or understanding of Allied Health practices
An understanding of HICAPS
An understanding of Nookal practice management platform

HAND THERAPIST – OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST / PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Full Time / Immediate Start Available
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist to join our small but vibrant team at Cairns Hand Clinic in a permanent, full time capacity from January / February 2024. A passion for Hand Therapy is essential and experience working in this clinical area is desirable.
About the role
The successful candidate will enjoy working with a supportive team of experienced Hand Therapists in our spacious, modern and well equipped rooms. Located next door to FNQ Hand Surgery, our team work closely with world class HUL Surgeons, Allied Health Professionals, Specialists and GP’s from the broader health community in Cairns. The clinical caseload is diverse, reflecting the expansive catchment from which our patients come from. You can expect to see a broad range of hand & upper limb conditions, both common and rare, acute and chronic, affecting hand – elbow.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- First Aid, CPR training
- A full driver’s licence
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Self confident & compassionate mind set
- Desire to make positive contributions to the team
- Impeccable communication skills
